First, it was the Royal Rumble match.
Second, came the WWE 2K24 video game.
Now, it’s the opening video package.
Seems like the WWE is DONE with Brock Lesnar:
Brock Lesnar hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since he lost to Cody Rhodes last year at SummerSlam.
He was slated to return at this year’s Royal Rumble match, where he was expected to kick-start a Wrestlemania feud with Gunther. This would have been a BANGER.
Of course, this was BEFORE Lesnar’s ALLEGED involvement in Vince McMahon’s sex trafficking lawsuit.
I’m not going to get into all of the diabolical details, but here’s a tweet if you need referencing:
Since the lawsuit, WWE has been going through the process of removing Lesnar from all of their media.
They initially removed Lesnar from the WWE video game, including the cover of the ‘40 Years of WrestleMania’ edition.
If that wasn’t already obvious, they also removed Brock from the opening intro video package and replaced him with LA Knight.
The writing seems to be on the wall for Brock Lesnar’s WWE future, but only time will tell what will happen.
In a perfect world, Brock Lesnar clears his name and returns to being one of the biggest draws the WWE has ever seen.
But as of this writing, the chances of that happening are look slim-to-none.
